Set initially amid the chaos and confusion of the final days of the Vietnam War, Miss Saigon is the tragic tale of a doomed romance between an American soldier, Chris (Levi Burrows - Emcee, Cabaret), and a Vietnamese bargirl, Kim (Sharnee O'Donnell). As the North Vietnamese Army stands poised to overrun Saigon and the US evacuates the last of its citizens, Chris and Kim are separated in the chaos.
Miss Saigon also features Amanda Locker (Sally Bowles, Cabaret) as Gigi, Justin Stewart as John, Aleah Applewaite as Ellen, Grant Pegg as The Engineer and Riley Griffin as Thuy.
Directed by Karen Crone (Cabaret, 2009). Produced by Rockhampton Regional Council. Part of the 2010 See It Live Theatre Season.
