Local families and friends can celebrate the festive season on a great note with Rockhampton’s premier Christmas event, Carols by Candlelight, in December. As a sea of candles lights up the Music Bowl, talented local performers will take the stage to present a magical evening of carol singing. The line up will feature a mix of contemporary and traditional favourites sure to delight and entertain the whole family.
But don’t expect the people on stage to do all the work – there
will be plenty of community carol singing from the audience. Add to that,
a visit from Santa and a spectacular fireworks finale and you have a great
family event.
Rockhampton Mayor Cr Brad Carter said he was looking forward to Carols
By Candlelight.

Carols by Candlelight is a great time to come together with family and friends
and celebrate Christmas,” he said.
Entry to the event is by gold coin donation, with proceeds going to
this year’s nominated charities, the RACQ Capricorn Helicopter
Rescue and SU Queensland’s Brekkie Club.Carols by Candlelight

Carols by Candlelight will be held at the Rockhampton Music Bowl on Saturday
December 13 from 7pm, Gates open at 5pm. Candles, programs and glow sticks,
